Take the launch star that appears to a secret area. On the secret area high above the large tree, talk to the nearby hungry Luma and trade 100 coins for his "services." Tip: If you do not have 100 coins there is a trick to get more: if you watch the Game Hint video on the upper plateau, the coins in the level will respawn and you can head back down to collect more. This should push you over the 100 coin limit. The timed minigame here involves collecting even more coins. From here you can use the launch star to reach another secret area high above. Refresh your clouds and use Cloud Mario to get to the top of the large tree. There is a ? Block above the upper plateau which delivers many gold coins if you jump into, see the picture.
Use it and subsequent Cloud Flowers to head left through the pools and up the rock face to reach the upper plateau with three Piranha Plants, gathering coins in mid-air and stomping enemies. Once you finish the minigame, stomp on all enemies in the area to get more coins (don't spin into enemies which will turn them into Star Bits, but you can jump, spin, and press Z to do a targeted stomp) and grab a Cloud Flower. The quicker you are, the richer you will become. Take the warp pipe here to a secret minigame: If you collect all the coins quickly, more will appear. From the very start of the level, run behind the large tree. This may sound like a lot, but there are two secret areas which can help you meet your goal.
Before grabbing this Hidden Star you'll need to amass 100 coins.
